Harnessing the Power of Imagery: EURORDIS Photo Award
In the spirit of these celebrations, EURORDIS has unveiled this year’s Photo Award – an international photo contest that transcends borders of nationality, age, and disease.
Why This Matters?
As a respected voice in the rare disease community, we understand the significance of such initiatives. The EURORDIS Photo Award is more than a mere competition; it is a platform to spotlight the incredible stories and experiences of those living with rare diseases. Through evocative imagery, it sheds light on the resilience, challenges, and inspiration within the LGDA community.
Your Role in Amplifying Awareness
We encourage you to take part and submit a meaningful photo of you or your loved one affected by complex lymphatic anomalies to support this meaningful contest. Sharing these stories can profoundly influence public awareness and understanding of rare diseases.
Participate and Make an Impact

Renowned photojournalist Marcus Bleasdale will curate a shortlist, which will then be open to public voting. The winners will be revealed at the EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards Ceremony on February 20th, 2024, with the top three photos receiving extraordinary prizes (details here).
